Method

Structure and experience produce a tailored solution

Every house is different, the questions are not. Using a method developed over years, I work through every field in a targeted way, across fraud prevention, money laundering and payments, and therefore know quickly where to look more closely. What comes out of it is never off the peg.

How the work is done

Three things you can rely on, however large the assignment is.

Structure

Nothing stays in the blind spot

Every area gets looked at, including the one nobody is thinking about right now. That produces a complete picture instead of a random slice.

Pace

Solid, because every day counts

Questions and evaluation are proven and get tailored to you, not invented from scratch. The time saved goes into the analysis, and you get something you can work with sooner.

Transparency

Traceable for you

Every assessment is reasoned and evidenced. The result is not a report to be filed away, but a basis your own team can carry on with.

The review fields

The fields I work through. Deliberately spread wide, because fraud prevention and payments fail at the interplay and not at the individual part: good scoring is worth little if the data behind it is not maintained. A motivated team loses its effect once backlogs grow.

The same questions to every review field

Whichever area we look at, the questions asked are always the same.

What exists What is actually there today, and is it being used?
Effectiveness Is what should be achieved actually being achieved?
Efficiency At what price, in effort and in good customers?
Controllability Can you see the current state and influence it?

Controllability is the one most often underestimated. An area that cannot measure its own state can neither set priorities nor demonstrate the value it adds.

The scope takes shape with you

No standard package, but tailored to you individually. And that does not start with the proposal, it starts in the intro call: I listen before I suggest anything.

Whether you are a small company without a team of your own, an established mid-sized business or an international group with several entities and markets, the way in is always the same. A free intro call in which you describe what is coming up, followed by a joint decision on scope, depth and duration.

Only then is it settled how deep and how broad the work goes. For some it is about fraud prevention, for others about the interplay with anti-money-laundering, or about the question of which payment method is offered to which customer. Everyone has different needs, and my job starts with understanding yours.

Working languages are German and English; international engagements across several countries and entities are part of my experience, not the exception.

Where do you stand today?

An intro call is usually enough to work out what the real issue is and how much depth it actually needs.
